maya greeted us with wine and cheese, a warm welcome i won't forget. the hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk to attractions (like the cathedral) and excellent dining. the morning breakfast was a delight with beautifully presented dishes and five-star service.
the alley to the hotel is pedestrian only, so the taxi dropped me off a short walk away (this was a minor inconvenience).

the breakfast offered a variety of fresh fruits, pastries, and local delicacies, all beautifully arranged. the dining area was bright and airy, filled with natural light and gentle music. i especially loved the freshly squeezed orange juice each morning.

the superior double room included a comfortable king-sized bed, a seating area, and a writing desk. high-quality linens adorned the bed and the bathroom featured luxurious amenities and soft towels. a fruit platter and a mini-fridge stocked with drinks were also available upon arrival.

faulty safeunreliable wifi
my stay wasn't without its hiccups. the safe in the beautiful double room didn't work. i also had problems connecting to the wifi, it was quite slow and dropped out frequently. i expect better connectivity especially since i was hoping to get some work done.

I found the nightly turndown service very thoughtful. Toiletries were supplied. Staff provided excellent help moving our luggage. The availability of parking was a Huge convenience in the historic center.
The signage is minimal so the hotel can be tricky to find initially.

Superb Stay in Historic Center

The hotel has central location near the Alcazar. Many restaurants are within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful . I got a farewell gift that I really liked.
The hotel's website said breakfast was included, but this did not apply when I stayed in the apartment. I think the website should include this information. I hope they fix this problem soon.

I must say I found some aspects disappointing. The room seemed smaller than I anticipated. The absence of a window facing outward was also a detriment. Paying over 400 euros for such accommodations is not justified.
